1. How We Collect Your Personal Information

The definitions of personal information and sensitive personal information in this Policy align with the Personal Information Security Specification (GB/T 35273).

1.1 Information Collected for Account Registration

To provide account registration and login functionalities, you need to provide the following information:

  • When registering an Elderly Application account, you will provide your phone number and password.
  • When logging in with a third-party account, we will collect your nickname and profile picture registered with the third-party platform.
    Currently, the App supports login via phone number and WeChat. Future login methods will be subject to the options provided in the App.

Purposes of collecting this information:
(1) To manage your account and provide better services, enabling synchronization of your account data across devices. If you change devices, logging into your account allows continued access to synchronized information, preventing data loss.
(2) If you provide a valid phone number or WeChat account for binding, you can conveniently recover your account or reset your password if lost.
(3) We will de-identify the collected information for statistical analysis to better understand user habits, improve products, enhance service quality, and optimize user experience.

Impact of not providing this information: Failure to provide the above information or register an account will affect your ability to use the App’s functionalities.

1.2 Information Collected During Service Usage

To understand product compatibility, detect account anomalies, and report errors, we may collect information about your device and how you and your device interact with our products and services, in addition to information you actively provide. This includes:

1.2.1 Device and Application Information: Such as device name, device identifiers (e.g., ESN, MEID, SN), device activation time, hardware model, operating system version, application version, software identifiers, contacts, text messages, device and application settings (e.g., region/language/time zone/font).

1.2.2 Mobile Network Information: Such as Public Land Mobile Network provider ID (PLMN), geolocation (signal tower identification information), and Internet Protocol (IP) address.

1.2.3 Log Information: When you use our services or view our content, we or our partners automatically collect and store information in logs, such as access time, frequency, access IP, and event information (e.g., errors, crashes, restarts, upgrades).

1.2.4 Specific Features: When software, smart device, or system service providers collaborate with us to provide services (e.g., authentication, SMS), we may collect de-identified device information (e.g., hardware model, OS version, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), MAC address) and share it with these providers.

1.2.5 Location Information: For location-based services (e.g., search, navigation, weather), we or our partners may collect and process your device’s approximate or precise location via GPS, WLAN, or network provider IDs. We will ask which applications you wish to enable location-based services for. You can disable location permissions in your device’s settings to refuse sharing location information.

1.2.6 Personal Information: With your consent, we may collect operator information, social security information, housing fund information, educational background, transaction information, online banking information, e-commerce purchase information, Alipay information, personal loan information, email information, insurance information, social network information, and tax information.

1.2.7 Content Stored on Partner Servers: Content you upload to cloud storage is stored on our data service providers’ servers to enable quick access and cross-device sharing. Neither we nor our partners will access the content stored on these servers. Personal information collected and generated within the People’s Republic of China is stored within the People’s Republic of China.

1.3 Features and Corresponding Permissions

1.3.1 Photo and Video Functions: Used for uploading photos during customer service interactions, requiring camera, microphone, and location permissions.
1.3.2 Photo Storage Function: Used for uploading photos during customer service interactions, requiring read/write storage permissions to access (read/delete) and write (create) data on the SD card.
